## Overview

I freelance for clients in the US and the EU while living in Mexico City, so getting paid itself was never the problem. The annoying part was actually using the money. Some clients paid in crypto, some in EUR, and every conversion meant another round of fees, delays, and small things that added up faster than I liked.
