## Overview

I've been in and around the payments space for a while processing, fintech, merchant services, digital wallets, etc. and I'm noticing something. Technical innovation gets all the hype (crypto, instant payments, AI fraud detection, risk management), but the companies that actually win long-term seem to be the ones with strong, thoughtful leadership more than just flashy tech.
