## Overview

I previously accumulated a significant amount of debt due to a failed business venture. I applied for credit cards from the business section and had to provide personal guarantees. Instead of utilizing Chase and American Express’s in-house debt management program, I opted for an external nonprofit organization with a much lower interest rate of 2% compared to the 9% (ranging from 27% to 29% before enrollment).
