## Overview

Everyone talks about UPI's success within India. I think the bigger story is what happens when real-time payment systems across Asia start talking to each other. Project Nexus! By the BIS, this is trying to connect the instant payment systems of countries like India, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines through a common framework. So instead of building another payment app, the goal is to make existing systems interoperable, and then cross-border payments can eventually become
