Need some gold coin tax information
View original on reddit.comOverview
My wifes family were cleaning out her parents house and came up a bunch of gold coins, the gold coins were then split up between my wife and her three other siblings. This was about two years ago, maybe longer. My wife has since passed away. I was thinking about cashing in a couple of gold coins. I do not have any information on when her father purchased them. So how do I figure what the capital gains tax would be? submitted by /u/Creepingdwarf [link] [comments]
