Why does Chat GPT have no concept of time?

Summary

I use chatgpt for day to day stuff like gym coaching etc just mundane things really but I notice that during ongoing chats it has no concept of time at all I have to literally specify ok it is now 2 days later, or its the same day at 10pm pr whatever. Is there a way around this? Its weird as the date and time is pretty standard in all apps and phones so why does it never know the date or time?
