Capitol one charged off an account in good standing just to remake what looks like the exact same thing. Will this negatively affect my credit?

Overview

Had the card for some time. Would not have even noticed it was an entirely different account till they put the old one on my main page saying charged off. Just shows transactions from like mid 2025 to early 2026 all green some with + others -. But then the new account had started around that mid 2025 mark. Don't really care to call them if I dont need to. Really just wanna know if this is going to be some kind of pain on my report. submitted by /u/BEANZ88 [link] [comments]
