CLEAR + charge 2 weeks later???

Summary

I have the Amex Green. A couple of weeks ago, I went to the airport to complete the CLEAR application and paid for it in person. A couple days later, i see a pending Clear charge for $1.00, then it disappeared. I figured Amex just decided to credit me the $209. Fast forward two weeks later and I see a CLEAR Charge pending for $169. The memo states that it was an online transaction. Customer service flagged it but advised I call back when it posts. Have any of you experienced this before? is this
