Putting surgery cost on CC - want to open new one, which should I do?

I am getting plastic surgery in a few months, going to be a good chunk of money & I have it saved up but I want to use credit in my favor. I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred currently, I’m considering opening a new credit card to put the surgery on and then pay it off & get a sign on bonus and points.
