Teen accounts don’t allow external transfers

Overview

My local CU is giving low rates for my savings. I want to use Capital One but they don’t allow minors to do external transfers so I have to use my moms login. My local CU’s money market is free and gives free checks, every time I wanna move money to savings, can I just write myself a check and mobile deposit it?
